Mallet and Chisel CCS Restoration provides historically accurate wood windows, doors, siding and trim, primarily to the restoration and renovation market.  Our windows are crafted from hand selected, kiln dried Spanish Cedar and constructed using mortise and tenon joinery.  Custom doors and millwork are made of a variety of woods to meet the needs of every client.

In many renovation projects, restoration of windows and doors is sometimes the best course of action, as the retention of historic material is typically the goal.  CCS Restoration can efficiently strip paint and glazing from windows so that they may be repaired and re-installed.  Our methods minimize dangerous airborne dust and we do not use toxic chemical strippers.

CCS Restoration was formed in 1996 to answer the call for historically accurate windows in the Central Florida market.  Since that time, we have had the pleasure to work with many contractors, architects and individual clients who have shared our passion for historic preservation.  Most of our projects have been on locally designated or National Register listed properties.  Several have been funded with historic preservation grants from the State of Florida.

CCS Restoration operates from its 3,500 square foot shop in historic downtown Sanford, not far from Orlando.  Because we are centrally located in the Florida peninsula, we are able to undertake projects in all parts of the state.
